Melexis is a thriving organization in a thriving business. We started in 1989 in Belgium with no more than 20 people. Now, more than 20 years later, we are operating with over 750 capable people in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, China, Japan, the Philippines, the United States, France, Bulgaria, Ukraine,… Through these different locations we try to serve our clients close to home and respect their local culture. We are really proud being able to present such a successful international growth path. With our robust roots, our record of successes and our continued growth we are looking forward to what is coming Needless to say that our retention rates have always been high.

Nevertheless, we believe we are still a company that can expand enormously. Our company is best described as a medium sized company with a global mindset.
Not only are we operating in the booming industries of automotive, industrial and consumer products, we also have the state of the art technology and required innovation in house. We are not an ordinary company and are always open for new opportunities and changes. That is why we can develop some fine applications that save lives, decrease the ecological footprint and increase comfort.
Secondly, we are not only high tech, but also high touch. As a highly customer driven company, we listen to our customers to understand what we can mean in terms of customer value. That we are able to serve our clients well, it is because of our broad product range, our customizable solutions, our in house knowledge and our technical support. Like no other company in our sector we are combining our different solutions and offering specific niche products to support the technical trends and needs in the market. That is the reason why we are a credible supplier and we are ultimately the supplier of the most well known car manufacturers around the globe.
Thirdly, we pursue quality in everything we do. Although we manage to deliver at the right price, we do not give in on quality. The specific challenges of our markets require us to step up continuously the quality of our products, methods, tools and systems in order to contribute to our customers’ successes. To maintain this quality mindset we are selective in our acquisitions and partnerships. Not the quantity or size, but the quality matters to us.
Fourthly, we treat our people well. We highly value their development and opportunities. It is only because of our people that we are able to grow (technology, innovation, opportunities, people management, development, applications)
Last but not least, our success is strengthened by our social and environmental stance. Through our products we re-emphasize our social and environmental responsibility.
