Melexis has an integrated process orientated management system in place, into which all quality, environmental and safety management procedures are completely implemented.
Following the motto "Quality is Our Business" the management system is continuously developed and optimized.
Specific Quality Improvement programs support the clear understanding of our Quality Policy as well as quality philosophy "Zero Defect Through Prevention".
Melexis Quality Certificates
The effectiveness of our management system was approved with successful certifications by DQS (German certification body for management systems ).
 
The Melexis Management system, the processes and their procedures and practice fulfil the requirements of the international automobile manufacturer acc. to ISO/ TS 16949:2002.
In addition the certification body also confirmed the fulfillment of the semiconductor specific
requirements acc. to ISO/ TS 16949 Semiconductor Commodity
The Environmental management as well as Safety management procedures are integrated elements of the Management system. They fulfil completely the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001.
The environmental related objectives as well as the principles of action are described in the Environmental Policy.
In product development phase Melexis follows advanced quality planning (APQP) as an integral process, especially applicable for automotive projects.

Process and product relevant capability studies in the development stage by use of optimized SPC methods support the comprehensive advanced quality planning.
The integrated review of the management system is an important advantage. The effectiveness of defined procedures and responsibilities regarding quality, environmental protection and safety is checked and assessed by a comprehensive internal audit system. It contains planned as well as unplanned system, process and product audits.
